Q. How is Statewide Gold different than other shops who buy gold ?
A. At Statewide Gold. I'm quite happy to earn 10% or less depending on how much gold you are selling. The other shops pay much less to cover their monthly expenses.  Also local businesses buying Gold pay less because their unable to sell what they purchase for 2 weeks and must provide local law enforcement weekly detailed information from whom they purchased Gold. At Statewide Gold I am not required to share your information locally because I travel full time.  

Q. Why is your phone number in the local yellow book different from your website  ?
A. In order to keep my advertising very low and keep paying the highest prices.  I elected a pay per call plan where they use their own number to monitor my calls and forward to my business phone. 

Q. Someone told me Gold might soar above $2000 ? Should I wait to sell ?
A. Being in the business for over 20 years. Gold is at an all time high and holding steady over $1700.00 an ounce ! As the World economy slowly recovers. Gold will eventually go down so the time to sell is now !
Gold is a barometer for the world economy. If gold ever went above $2000.00 an ounce. It would be catastrophic. It would reflect monetary failure on a global scale.  Imagine gas $10.00 a gallon. A loaf of Bread $5.00. I don't see this happening in our lifetime. Back in January 2006 gold was at $550.00 an ounce.  It's only a matter of time before these high prices come to an end as our economy slowly recovers

Q. How much can I expect to be paid for my Gold  ?
A. It all depends on the weight and Karat purity of your gold. The majority of gold jewelry sold in stores over the span of a century is 10K,14K and 18K. At your scheduled appointment every piece is tested for karat purity and weighed. You will receive a cash payment based on 85% or higher on London's closing gold price on the day of your scheduled appointment.

Q. What type of Gold and Silver do you buy ?
A. Gold comes in all shapes and sizes.  Rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces ect. Even dental gold. It doesn't matter what condition. It can be broken or tangled. It all has significant value ! Most Silver you have will be marked Sterling or 925.  I buy Serving  and Tea sets, single forks and spoons. 

Q.Do you buy Coins ?
A. Yes ! Coins are priced individually based on condition and current value. Always the highest price paid !

Q. How do I get started ?
A. Gather all your unwanted Gold and silver. Don't worry if your not sure if it's real or plated. I test every piece. Next you simply call to schedule an appointment. If you receive a recording. I'm most likely with another customer. Leave your name and number and your call will be returned promptly.
